Dr. Mark Jaffee DDS
Boulder Dentist Dr. Mark Jaffee grew up in Minneapolis, MN, graduated from Bradley University, and went on to graduate from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry. He maintains a high level of excellence through advanced courses and continuing education. Dr. Jaffee believes in treating the “whole” person with comprehensive care in a comfortable atmosphere.
Dr. Jaffee enjoys golf, skiing, fishing and live music.
Business Manager
Tracy DeFrates
Tracy DeFrates has been the Business Manager with Dr. Mark Jaffee since 2004! She was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois and moved to Aspen in 1998. She became a dental assistant in 2000 while living in Aspen and moved to Boulder in 2004. She enjoy’s helping patients as much as she can with her knowledge of working in the back as a dental assistant in regards to procedures, helping with questions on dental benefits, payment plans and helping people to get through the anxiety of coming to the dentist. Our amazing patients and dedicated team keep me coming to work everyday with a smile!
She enjoy’s cooking, hiking, live music, yoga and spending time with her son and awesome Wheaten Terrier Sopris!
Dental Hygienist
Meghan Rozinek
Meghan is a Boulder native, born and raised in the mountains west of town. Growing up she attended University of Colorado Boulder for a degree in Microbiology followed by Community College of Denver for dental hygiene. She still lives in the hills with her husband and two daughters where they enjoy the great outdoors. Meghan has been a patient herself of Mark Jaffee since she was three years old, “it’s like family.” She enjoys helping patients achieve optimum oral health while making them feel like they are part of the family as well.
Expanded Duty Dental Assistant
Liz McNitt
Native to Colorado, Liz grew up in Arvada, where she still resides with her husband and 3 kids. She enjoys urban farming. Liz attended Colorado School of Dental Assisting in 2012 and went on to receive her EDDA certification at Diversified Dental School in 2015. She enjoys getting to know her patients on a personal basis, pre-pandemic she was Mark’s assistant. Now, she is our “girl Friday” helping at the front with scheduling, learning insurance and helping in the back office when needed! She is always happy to help answer any questions.
